One person built this agency.
NAEMA Agency is run by Martin Lukman. Based in Sydney. I built this business because I spent two years watching small migrant-owned businesses in inner Sydney pay $5,000 to $9,000 for websites that never quite worked, and I knew there was a better way to deliver the same outcome.
15 years running operations at B2B marketing agencies.
I've spent 15 years as a Director of Operations at B2B marketing agencies — managing global teams across ANZ, ASEAN, EMEA, and North America. Performance management systems. Sales script optimisation. Quality assurance at scale.
That experience is what makes NAEMA Agency work.
Most agencies running a subscription model fail because the operations get sloppy. Clients fall through the cracks. Monthly reports stop going out. The photos never get updated. The agency I'm building applies 15 years of agency operations discipline to small-business website delivery.
The inner-Sydney migrant business belt is underserved by digital agencies.
In Cabramatta, Bankstown, Newtown, Surry Hills, and Chinatown, there are thousands of small businesses that have never had a website. Half the nail salons in Cabramatta don't have one. Most of the Vietnamese restaurants in Bankstown rely entirely on UberEats and Google Maps. The cobbler in Surry Hills who's been in the same shop for 22 years has 87 five-star reviews and no way for the kids of his long-time customers to find him on a Saturday morning.
The mainstream agencies that quote $5,000-$9,000 for a website don't door-knock these businesses, don't speak the language of their owners, and don't structure their pricing for businesses doing $150K-$400K a year. The migrant business belt of inner Sydney has been underserved by digital agencies the same way it's been underserved by every other professional services sector for the past 30 years.
This agency exists to change that. Subscription model so the upfront cost isn't terrifying. Door-knock outreach because that's how trust gets built in these communities. Done-for-you operations because the owner is already running a business and shouldn't have to learn a website builder. Four verticals so the work compounds.
Honest about scope from day one.
- Build sites for trades, construction, auto repair, or cleaning businesses. The customer profile and support load are wrong for this model.
- Build sites for CBD cafes, restaurants, or law firms. They're already over-served by mainstream agencies.
- Run paid advertising for clients. There are people who specialise in that and do it better. I refer them.
- Fake testimonials. Until I have a portfolio of real signed clients, this About page is the most honest thing I can tell you.
NAEMA is the umbrella brand for everything I'm building. NAEMA Agency is the services arm — the part that puts websites in the hands of small businesses. Other things sit under the NAEMA name but they're separate businesses with separate audiences. If you're here for the agency, this site is for you.
