The Marque house notebook has been hand-bound on the back-room press since 2017. A4 or A5, two paper weights, three thread colours. Each notebook is numbered and signed. Refillable.
A small subscription that picks a fortnight's ink from the world's best small makers — Iroshizuku, Diamine Anniversary, Pilot Iroshizuku, Sailor Studio, Robert Oster. We post by Australia Post, padded, with a tasting card. Skip a month or pause any time.

The pencil drawer. Blackwing, Caran d'Ache, Mitsubishi Hi-Uni, Faber-Castell 9000. By the dozen.
Marque notebooks are hand-bound on the original 1958 Asbern press behind the counter. Cover linens are sourced from a Berlin bookbinder; signature paper from Japan; thread from the same Paris atelier we have used since the shop opened.
Custom commissions accepted year-round — corporate gifting, wedding guestbooks, fountain-pen-friendly journals to your own specification. Lead time three to six weeks.

Walk-ins welcome. We have testers for every pen on the wall, and the ink bench is always set out for trial. The bookbinding press is at the back; you are welcome to ask to see it.
