Lia & Joon, founders.

Lia Choi

Lead Aesthetician · KSEA Certified

Lia trained at the Korean Skin & Aesthetic Academy in Seoul (2014) and worked at three flagship K-beauty rooms in Gangnam before moving to Sydney in 2020.

She handles every treatment personally and has the only set of keys to the back-room fridge. The strawberry milk is also her recipe.

Joon Park

Café Lead · Front of House

Joon ran a third-wave coffee bar in Hongdae for eight years before joining Lia in 2022 to open the café side of Yeonji.

If you have ordered a strawberry milk and the espresso machine is being polished at the same time, that is Joon. Cash tips appreciated.

HotDoc opens for the coming fortnight, every Sunday evening. Walk-ins for the café-bar all day. Treatment-only customers welcome to a coffee on the house at check-in.
