The Maker

Eleanor Linden, on the bench since 2014.

Eleanor trained as a botanist before she trained as a formulator. The shopfront on Bourke Street started as a workshop with one chair, two shelves, and a kettle. The kettle is still there. So is the chair.

Every formula begins on the bench by hand in the same room where it leaves us — single-batch, glass-stoppered, no fillers, no fragrance unless the plant brought it.
