Ages 2 – 10A solo paediatric occupational-therapy practice on Percival Road. We help children regulate, play, write, dress, eat, and feel at home in their bodies. Sensory-affirming, neurodiversity-affirming, parent-coached.

Ages 2 – 10For the children whose hands are tiring at school. Pencil grip, letter formation, scissors, drawing. Play-led practice with games designed to feel like fun, not work.
Ages 4 – 10For little ones whose emotions run loudly. Co-regulation work with parents first, then child-led tools. Often combined with sensory work.
Ages 3 – 12Dressing, toileting, eating, sleep routines, brushing teeth. Practical, individualised plans for families who are tired and need help.
Ages 2 – 12Affirming, strengths-based OT for autistic children and their families. We do not aim for "less autistic" — we aim for "more comfortable, more capable, more themselves."
All agesFor Kindy starters who need a confidence boost on cutting, sitting, listening, and lunch-box independence. A twelve-week pre-Kindy block with a printable home plan.
Ages 4 – 6A typical Goldfish session is forty-five minutes of structured play, designed around your child's sensory profile. There are no "right answers". The aim is regulation first, then learning.
Swings, spinning chairs, balance work. For little ones who crave movement or are afraid of it.
Squish-pillow piles, heavy-work tasks, jumping. For the children who need their body to know where it is.
Sensory bins, finger paint, slow textures, fabric work. For children who recoil from touch or who seek it constantly.
BAppSc (Occupational Therapy, Sydney, 2012), Master of Disability Studies (UNSW, 2017). Eight years across Royal Far West and Northcott paediatric services before opening Goldfish OT on Percival Road in 2024.
Mia is sensory-integration trained, Lidcombe-aware for joint care with speech-pathology friends, and the mum of one very-spirited five-year-old who reviews every new toy that comes into the play room.
Plan-managed and self-managed under "improved daily living" or "capacity building". Invoiced directly. Reports prepared at no extra charge.
Up to five visits per calendar year with a GP-coordinated Chronic Disease Management plan. Rebate of $58.30 per visit.
All major funds. Rebate per session varies between $40 and $95. HICAPS in the room on the day.
Helping Children with Autism & Better Start packages where eligible. Children under seven, up to twenty sessions.
